Daria Corsi joins the group for her PhD!
Daria did her Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Milan, under the supervision of Profs. Marco Pallavicini and Cristiano Bolchi, where she specialized in the synthesis of photoactivatable compounds to control α4β2 nAChR activity. She spent several months as a trainee in Data Availability at the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).
Now, Daria takes on a new challenge. Funded by our recently-awarded SPP2370 "Nitroconversion" project, she will explore heterogeneous catalytic for N2 fixation into high-value organic molecules, driven by electro(photo)catalysis. Daria will spend several months at the Max Planck in Potsdam learning heterogeneous catalyst synthesis and surface characterization techniques, under the co-supervision Drs. Oleksander Savateev & Paolo Giusto!
