Forget turkey.. to celebrate Christmas, the bears go for a Kurdish Christmas dinner(!).
A great deal happened in 2022:
+6 publications, +4 covers!
Thanks to the end of the pandemic the bears were finally able to travel and present their research & engage in exchanges internationally: Mark & Jas went to London, Joshua to Delhi, Michal & Joshua to Strasbourg, Simon went to Singapore.
The bears also spread their research at conferences around Germany: Shangze, Xianhai and Shahboz went to Münster (ORCHEM), Daria and Joshua went to Bayreuth, Jas, Shahboz and Joshua went to Halle.
Two bears moved on to their next positions: Mark began his PhD at the University of Bristol, Shangze began his next postdoc at the University of Leipzig; while two new bears joined the clan (Mattia, Daria)!
Big things to come for the bear clan in 2023... with an ERC Starting Grant as one of them! \(^(I)^)/
